It is my opinion that without these three categories, we can not growth as teachers. Each new learning endeavor needs to start with a purpose. The purpose needs to be articulated as a plan with objectives and measurable outcomes. Then, the plan has to be carried out and the teacher has to receive feedback from students and peers to determine how effective the plan was. Finally, teachers need to be part of a community of other educators who work together to learn and implement new ideas, to make the learning experience even more effective for our students. As long as this cycle of learning and discovery continues, teachers remain motivated and enthusiastic, and so do their learners!
